No-Reserve Auction
Purchased as a weekend, autocross toy. No longer have the time or the desire to complete this project.
The Z was last registered and driven in 2014. For the past 3 years it has mostly sat idle in the garage and occasionally started and driven around the block to keep the fluids circulating. It runs, drives and stops but will need some TLC before becoming really road worthy again. I wouldn't recommend driving this home - bring a trailer or a tow truck.
The car appears to have been hit in the front passenger side a long time ago and repaired - badly. It wasn't the straightest of repairs. The Z does pass safety inspection and is able to be registered. It would take a good welder to fix it properly. See the additional pictures for details.
The floors have been patched up and the frame rails reinforced with thicker steel. Again, not exactly the most professional work.
2.4L - 4-speed manual - R180 differential
Previous owner put on a new exhaust with a glasspack muffler - the car is LOUD.
The front and back struts have been sectioned and the car currently sits on adjustable Ground Control coilovers.
Tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The rear passenger wheel will not hold air for longer than 2 weeks. I suspect the valve stem, since it did the same thing on the old rubber.
Dash controls and radio are missing. All gauges, including the clock, still work.
The front bumper is dented in the center and will be included in the sale.
Clean blue Texas title in my name.
The car has a lot of potential and a skilled metal fabricator could make this one perfect again.
Car is sold as is, where is with no warranties expressed or implied. Transport of the vehicle is responsibility of the buyer.
$500 deposit required via PayPal within 48 hours of auction close. Remainder of cost is due at pick-up via cash, certified check or wire transfer only.
