1978 Datsun 280 Z

Listing this for a computer challenged friend. This is a 1978 Datsun 280Z with the rare Black Pearl option. It was the first Black Z car that Datsun produced. The car is owned by the original purchaser and he has been the only owner. It was ordered from Porreco Motors in Erie Pennsylvania and took over six months to be delivered. The car has approximately 12,500 miles and has never been in rain or snow. It still has the original tires on it and has been well taken care of. It has been started at least a couple of times a year and stored on stands to avoid flat spots on tires. Early in its life he got a scratch in the paint on the side and had the car repainted in the correct #638 paint. The shop claimed they could no longer use the original paint type ( lacquer?) and used a more modern type but it is the correct Black Pearl color. There have never been any dents or rust on the car. When it was repainted a new factory decal kit was applied. Interior is excellent and everything works on the car. Original owners manual and warranty booklet are there as well as maintenance records. Japanese sports cars are on the rise in the last few years and this is a perfect investment opportunity as well as a great car to drive. I encourage you to research the Black Pearl Edition to get a good idea of the rarity of the car.
