1973 Datsun 240Z1 owner car2.4L inline 6 cyl. engine4 speed manual trans.Cocoa paint (original color)
This car was purchased on 7/6/1973 as a graduation present for the current owner. The owner passed away in November of 2016 and I am helping the estate sell the cars. This Dastun was his baby. There were multiple framed pictures and awards hanging in the garage. It was entered in the Ault Park Concours (Cincinnatti, OH) in 2006 and won 1st place in it's class. It was also entered in the Keeneland Concours (Lexington, KY) and the Louisville Concours. Along with other "Z car" car shows.
It went under a pretty extensive restoration in 1990. After an accident from someone running a red light. Receiving a cosmetic refurbishment including new paint, new upholstery, chrome plating, new emblems, etc. The engine and transmission also underwent an overhaul, new bearings, rings, valve springs, etc.
Please call or email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them. I have a link to many more pictures, message me your email address and I will send the link.
