1967 1/2 Datsun 1600 Roadster

1967 1/2 DATSUN 1600 ROADSTER SPL 311 plus an extra Engine, Transmission& Parts
Have owned this car since 1991, had it repainted and reupholstered in 1993. Can't tell you how many miles the car itself has on it - the speedometer does not work. (I put "0" in the "Mileage" section above b/c Icouldn't put "Don't Know". The paint color is "Porsche Guards Red" and although it is still in very good condition - not faded at all, there is some "mild" rust on the lower part of the left fender and asmall amounton top in front of the trunk lid. Also, there is a small dent on top of the right fender. As for the interior, it is in "fair" condition although the carpet is faded, there areno tears in it.
Engine Specifics:
Present engine is an R16, five main with factory header, and has less than 5000 miles on it. This is not the original engine however, the original engine and transmission will come with the car and again, not able togive the mileage on thisengine.The original engine needs to be rebuilt and the original transmission needs a second gear.
Clutch & pressure plate and exhaust system have less than 5000 miles on them.
New brakes installed in August, 2016.
New water pump was purchased last October however, it hasn't been installed, butwill be by the time the buyer picks up the car.
Also included will be the original steering wheel, radio, hard top plus many extra engine andmiscellaneousparts. A soft top is included and is in very good condition. Also, the windshield is original, it is shorter compared to other models and it is separate from the car, meaning it can be removed. Evidenced by the fact that it is bolted tothe frame on the inside of where the door hinges are located.
This car has always been an "extra" car - being driven only on good weather days, and garaged. This car is a driver and I feel that it could be driven with confidence, but it does need new tires. I am selling this roadster because I have lost the "thrill" of owning a convertible and would like to have it go to someone who will enjoy it.

And by the way, I do have all records of repairs/maintenance that have been donesince I've owned the car.
