Car description

1983 Nissan 280zx
2 seater w/ factory
T tops and 5 spd

LOW Realistic reserve !! We want to sell vehicles, not sit on them
FOR 3 MONTHS. AZ TITLE IN HAND - START off 2017 with a new old Z car while they are still
affordable .
This is one of the most desirable Zs right now being scooped up and restored.
2 seater / 5 speed / T Tops and a great color combo from an Arizona climate still in Tucson.
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
this is a nice unmolested survivor Z on its way to being
restored back to its glory. It has sat for a few yrs but the last owner did some work and drove
the car for about 5 yrs as a daily driver. Making routine trips from Tucson to Phx as well.
The last owner had the car for a few yrs and it was a daily driver up until about a yr ago.
Its been parked mostly this last yr, driven very little.
Since then its started having a running problem. It starts with the key pretty much all the time
no problem, but when its cold, it stumbles and runs rough. If I let it warm up for about 5 min it
runs better, good enough to drive around, but not 100% like normal.
It could be the gas from sitting or a sensor out causing it to run like it is. My guess maybe the Engine
Temp Sensor that sends a signal to the Air vane meter (MAF)
could be bad, Ive just not had enough time to research it more in depth.
When its running better and warmed up, the motor sounds great, good power and no weird noises
or smoke. Rest of the drive train feels fine (IE trans etc..)

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: we believe the motor to be the original, EFI with the
factory 5 spd. We mentioned the rough running when cold above. Some
new parts put on last few yrs are: clutch and resurface flywheel / belts
vaccum lines / fuel filter / plugs / NGK wires / cap n rotor / coil / K&N
Air filter / charcoal canister / battery tray and 2 injectors / TPS sensor
throttle body intake boot oem style . Whats even nicer is this car is a still
very close to original and not been modded by a kid and not torn up.
Fix the cold running issue and youll have a great daily driver.

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the interior of this car is pretty clean
and nice for its age. Far from perfect but okay for a daily driver.
Wouldnt take much to restore. Glove box door isnt properly attached and
one of the trim pieces is missing on from one of the Ttops. All the gauges
on the dash seem to be properly working except the talking warning system.
Still has stock Nissan radio not sure if its working or not, but it lites up.
Could just have a bad speaker, not sure. Carpet in the rear deck area missing.
As is the jack and spare. It wouldnt take much to finish it at all.
Car is equipped with PW and Cruise Control, some pretty rare options.
Windshield has a crack, rest of the glass is good.
This is also a factory AC car too. Cant say its working 100% but it looks all
to be there at least.

EXTERIOR:the body is almost 100% original. It has rear window louvers at
one time, but they are missing. About 20 yrs ago the car had a minor fender
bender, best we can tell it was just the LF fender. It was replaced with just
an okay unit and the car had a repaint at the time. Now the clear coat is flaking
off from the Az sun and paint has some fade to it. Also, the replacement fender
actually has a rust spot on it. Its the only rust we can find anywhere on the car
because rest of the car of course is Az sheetmetal, the lf fender is not.
Check out all the pics, we have sold several of these Zs over the last few yrs and
I know where they commonly rust. This car does not have those issues. There is
minor bubbling around the top and bottom of the front windshield, thats about
it. And if this happens to an AZ car, I cant imagine how bad it would be on a non
AZ car. Also for some reason the rear brake lights stay on. My guess its the brake
lite switch under the dash, but havent had time to check it out. Ive been removing
the battery cable for now when its not being used. Front lower valance a little
beat up from parking blocks.

SUSPENSION:the suspension very rust free making it easy to work on in the
future, thats for sure. The rear struts are new blue Tokicos. The car also have new
front ball joints, I think front struts too, front wheel bearings n seals, steering rack
boots, rear differential mount, along with some urethane bushings new in the front
end. It may have a new set of 1" drop springs in the car too. The car handles and drives
nice for its age and level of restoration.
These are are easy to work on, and very easy to find all sorts of parts for too.
Brakes feel fine and work great. Im sure Im missing something, but email us with any
questions.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days
speaks volumes.
This is a great car to restore, Z values are on the rise !
day when you feel the need, and watch it appreciate for yrs
to come.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. No worries here, and

much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
