Un-restored, ust free, how quality, actory original paint, arage kept vintage Pickup Truck in Ford "Flare Yellow", eing offered NO RESERVE.
Recently out of proper long term storage. An F-100 series truck in miniature.
Manufactured By Mazda of Japan (Kogyo Co. Ltd.) for Ford Motor Company.
Near Mint, o as new overall condition with recent (20 miles since performed) photographically documented scheduled maintenance including the following, sing only NOS (New Old Stock) Motorcraft parts exclusively, resh from their factory packaging: New dual timing chain/ tensioners /gear set, ntirely rebuilt head with decked surfaces, seals, uides, prings, alves, tc), ings, od bearings, ll clutch/pressure plate components, eals, earings, ead gasket, ntake/exhaust manifold gaskets, ater pump, lternator, all joints, ront/rear wheel cylinders, ront/rear brakes, ear main/ output shaft seal, tc.
All front end suspension components have been replaced with NOS parts as well, ncluding upper and lower ball joints, ie rod ends, dler arm kit, tc.
The second owner (I am the third custodian) had made an enjoyable hobby of sourcing NOS parts for this truck while accumulating less than 1,000 miles on the truck during his eight year ownership.
As a bonus, ll of these NOS Ford Courier parts (accessory, ighting, rim, witches, tarter, arious mechanical, tc.) and a large box of Courier literature (assembly manuals, eriod advertising, ealer brochures, tc.) are included with the sale of this truck as well, ccupying nearly the entire bed of the truck.
All original replaced parts have been carefully saved for posterity. Runs and drives as new with whisper quiet exhaust. Odometer currently reads 85,070 miles. Clear California title in my name and truck is exempt from California Smog regulations due to year of manufacture.
Even the tailgate original cloth chain boots, actory original Japanese Koito headlamps, nap in rubber flooring surfaces, iper motor translucent moisture shield, tc. remain intact along with the factory 12 piece tool kit stored in the original lace up bag with screwdriver kit in the snapped plastic pouch. Original jack and hardware are properly stored behind the bench seat covered in a removable tight fitting custom tweed fabric. Dash has no cracks and shows no evidence of age. A testament to garage kept avoidance of UV exposure.
Truck still has the new car smell. Driven less than 1,000 miles in the past ten years and obsessively cared for and garage kept since new. A custom, asily removable for cleaning, eavy rubber 3/8" floor mat (approximately 70 lbs. and not shown in photos) has been fitted to the bed area to avoid additional superficial scuff marks, few which do exist, nd the truck had a camper shell installed new, hich aided in preservation of the bed surfaces. The shell has been removed and is no longer available.
1.8 liter, -cylinder, our speed manual transmission. Engine number: VBT33153 (original matching numbers). VIN number: SGTAPT20852.
Ford successfully presented the Courier Mini pickup to compete with Toyota, hevrolet Luv, atsun and the Mazda B-series 1800 during the mid 1970's fuel crisis. These small trucks are known for their mechanical durability.
Total length (172"), idth (63"), eight (61.6").
Truck was recently displayed in Long Beach California at the annual JDM Queen Mary (JCCS) all Japanese car show. In a healthy lineup of Datsun, oyota and Chevrolet mini pickups, his was the only Mazda built Ford present. Various positive discussions on this truck, t that event, an be viewed by search.
