1975 Datsun 280z FULL DISCLOSURE LISTING - it's important to know exactly what you're getting. Rare year - first with EFI, ringing back performance to balance out added weight from changing regulations. Not a show car, his car is a hobby restoration, o true enthusiasts or a close inspection WILL find flaws. However, t is a beautiful specimen and has been restored to be what it is supposed to be: A true driver's car. Not the fastest on the road, ut a real head turner with enough power to put your head back when you want it to. Tons of fun, ice and low slung, reat handling, nd with awesome styling. Throttle is very responsive, nd the twice pipes give it a nice, eep rumble.Close inspection will show flaws in the clear coat, uch as some "orange peel" (see pics) and a couple of buff marks (less than an inch long). More buffing might be in order, r even a second clear coat could make it a complete mirror shine. It needs a flasher unit - everything else works perfectly. There seems to be a loose wire connection in the interlock circuit somewhere under the driver seat - the interlock unit sometimes seems confused, ut it does not affect performance. The rear brake cylinders either need replacement or adjustment because the e-brake will not catch (currently putting it in gear to park on an incline). There is a dash cap as well, here has been some metal work done on the driver's side frame rail and the floor pans, nd the rear defogger does not seem to be carrying the current (though the connectors are not the tightest either). Finally, here is a dime-sized piece broken out of the tray part of the center console (under the grey carpet sample in the pic). This is about the sum total of flaws (the fluid in the pictures is A/C condensation, ot oil). Here are the perks and what has been redone: Replaced fusible links with breakers (for storage and circuit protection), new BF Goodrich tires all around (215/60) on turbine rims, new carpet, riginal spare, heel chocks, nd jack equipment, old A/C, SA twice pipes, new front wheel bearings, new urethane mustache bar bushings, new MOOG sway bar links - front and rear, new timing chain guides, new spark plugs and wires, new fuel hoses on the intake, &N air filter, new injector connectors, new fuel filter, ony sound system with pandora, luetooth hands free calling, ront usb ipod/mp3 charging, riginal shift knob (green coin), lawless headliner, atching numbers, new rear hatch seal, lacked out bumpers, LL BUMPER RUBBER INTACT (this one was a huge pain!), riginal oil pan splash guard (repainted), e-primed and repainted upper and lower grilles (stainless screws because those are notorious for rusting and breaking), rim repaint on all trim but the plate frame and light to even out color tones (same color for the blinker bezels, rilles, umpers and tail light panels), LL lights work, ny and all underside rust was removed, epaired, nd recoated with rubberized coating, LL body rust has been removed, epaired, rimed, nd painted (rocker panels were completely removed and replaced with galvanized), riginal owner's manual, intage chilton manual, nd paint code is included, new vinyl on the rear shock towers and interior wheel wells, riginal vinyl on the deck riser, riginal storage liners (riser and liners have the diamond pattern), new slotted and drilled rotors and pads on the front, new rubber gas fill flap, new lug nuts, new MSA wheel center caps with Z logo, he previous owner claimed he replaced the slave cylinder, nd more than likely one or two things I've missed...The result - a hot little roadster on the street and in the garage! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions and be sure to see other items for extra parts from the 74.5-76 years.
