This is a nice example of a combination restoration/modification of a 1936 Cord Westchester. It is fun to drive and show. The body is that of a restored 1936 Cord Westchester. The rest of the car is modified. This Cord is powered by a fuel injected Corvette LS1 engine and stops using its four wheel power disc brakes. It has a 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission. It has rack and pinion steering and a tilt/telescoping steering column. The interior is a custom leather/cloth seats with shoulder seat belts in the front. For comfort and convenience. it has power windows. power remote door locks. /p>suicide doors with power safety locking pins. air conditioning. and an AM/FM/CD player. The headlights open and close by power. although when closed. do not line up with the body absolutely perfectly. It has a Heidts Mustand II independent front end and a Corvette independent rear with 3:73 gears. The dashboard has a vintage look with Auto Meter instrumentation. It has a Walker radiator and air condenser. The car has approximately 4000 miles on the engine. transmission. and tires. I can not take credit (or blame) for anything on this car as I bought it as is. I have enjoyed owning it and showing it and am ready to move on to a true restoration.
