Car description |
---|
This car was started back in the early 1990's. We bought it in 2008 from the widow of the owner. He never completed the build and I haven't had any time to get started on it and that makes me sick.
It sits on a 1980's GM Chasis. It has a GM 350 engine and Transmission. We were told that the engine and transmission were rebuilt. All the body is there and most all the necessary trim components are there as well. See pics. It needs a new home I just haven't had the time to get around to starting or finishing it.
This Is NOT A KIT CAR. Molds WERE TAKEN FROM AN ORIGINAL AUBURN SPEEDSTER then the body was created in fiberglass from those molds resulting in an exact replica of the body.
This would be a really nice project for someone that wanted to get into an Auburn a lot cheaper and fix it up little by little. As you know a new Auburn Speedsteer is well over 100k and an original is well over 1 million.
We are opening a new business and need the cash more than the car. So, the car has to go.
We do have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early in the event of an off eBay transaction.
Buyer will have to apply for title in your state when the build is complete. Comes with a Bill of Sale.
Buyer to pay non refundable deposit of $1000 via PayPal after auction ends and balance within 3 days via PayPal or cash.
If you have any questions it will be best to call at 214-274-1465.
Buyer to arrange for transportation and pick up. We will work with the buyer and transportation Company to arrange the pick up at the Buyers convience however please make arrangements for pickup within 30 days.
