Lomax 1979
This is a very special, well built, sporty Lomax Type 223 based on a 1979 Citroën. It was built in the UK. It is equipped with single rear wheel and race prepared front suspension for better driving performance. The car is in a lovely Bugatti blue colour with a black interior, side mounted spare wheel and side exhaust. There is luggage area behind the seats. The car is sold with an additional externally mounted luggage rack. It is in an exceptionally good condition and drives fantastically. Lots of fun because it accelerates surprisingly well, corners like a sports car should and can be driven safely at motorway speeds. I bought it in Dublin, Ireland and drove it back to the South of France via London over 15 years ago...it was fun! Sadly selling due to the need to downsize my collection of French classics (smaller house in town).
Car can be viewed in the Biarritz/Bordeaux areas. Shipping can be arranged from France to a port in the US for about USD 1600 excluding import tax.
I have more pictures and videos if interested. This includes the LOMAX driving around the circuit of the Classic Car Grand Prix de Pau, France, in 2018. Probably participating in the same Grand Prix in May 2019.
