For Sale 1950 Dodge Route Van

Mostly original and complete. Missing the speedometer but that is a common 50's dodge part.Engine and drivetrain is original. Engine is not running but turns over and will most likely run.Body has very limited rust in the battery tray and a small area on drivers' side rocker area.
The side doors both slide well but the driver is missing it's handle. The rear barn doors both work and latch.The seat is there but has no upholstery left. The glass is all present but only a couple pieces are not cracked. All glass is flat glass and easily cut at any competent glass shop.
The truck will come with modern tires mounted on the original steel rims. The truck comes with all 4 wheels. I am in the process of having modern tires mounted on the original rims. Some photos show a right rear wheel missing but it is included.
This vintage step van could make a cool rat rod or patina ride. The mechanicals are very unique to this vehicle. It has an offset engine to the passenger side and an articulated rear end with a DeDion link suspension to give it a lower floor height. Very cool or just drop the body onto a modern chassis such as a suburban or a 4x4 chassis.

Seller will help with loading the truck onto a transporter if needed. Transport is available within the western US for $1.25 per mile.
