2CV AZL - 1957 Fully restored classic 2cv AZ Ripple Bonnet

Fully restored Citroen 2cv. first model with specific ripple bonnet/hood and suicide doors. This legendary car in its original shape should be part of every serious car collection This car. a 2cv AZL. was in 1957 the most luxurious 2cv available. luxurious in ’57 was the specific aluminium trim on doors and bonnet. big rear window (specific for ’57 models) and a front windshield demister. Despite this the car holds still all specific and more genius details. like a stick in the petrol tank as fuel gage. windscreen wipers operated by the speedometer etc. The car was imported from French and then kept in storage for over 20 years. The restoration has been done with attention to every detail and performed up to high standards. All the bodywork was cleaned up to bare metal (not sandblasted due to the thin metal but done by hand). Front and rear wings. doors are all original (no aftermarket!) . An epoxy primer and several layers of the original paint colour are applied professionally. The car is painted in it's original color Gris Clair and the wheels are ivory. New original Michelin Classic Tyre (125x400) are fitted to all 5 wheels (incl spare). Almost all parts which have been replaced are replaced by original old stock (NOS) items. Except for the canvas roof and the upholstery front and rear seats which are newly manufactured. All documentation from restoration available as well as the original ‘Carte Gris’ (French Registration License). Car is orginal 1957 and all paperwork incl VIN is available - Ebay won't list Citroen cars older then 1980. I can assist you in shipping this car worldwide!
