1973 Citroen 2CV 6We have for sale a very nice 2CV. Has been well cared for and maintained. Has Oregon Pacific Wonderland collector plates which do not require registration renewal. We do not have documentation to prove the miles are original but it is not farfetched to say they are given its condition. Titled as a 1963 but VIN indicates that its most likely a 1973 model. The following description is based on our observations and may have errors. We highly recommend bidders perform a pre purchase inspection by themselves or by an independent third party before bidding. Exterior:Paint is an older repaint that is holding up well. No dings or dents. Scratches on the passenger side rear fender. All glass is good. Canvas top is excellent and does not leak. Car appears to be rust free. We could not find any rust in the undercarriage. Interior:Carpet appears to be relatively new and only required a light vacuuming from us. Seats are in great shape with no tears or worn out areas. Door panels show minimal wear. Seat belts operate correctly. Mechanical:This is the first time we have had the pleasure of getting to know one of these vehicles and we are very surprised with how easy it is to drive. The clutch is excellent. Transmission shifts well and with minimal effort. The little 600cc engine is very responsive and healthy sounding. Fires up in cold weather on the very first turn of the ignition. Exterior brake lights. turns signals. and headlamps all operate correctly. Instrument cluster operates correctly. We received the car with the oil in good condition and at the proper level. Fresh air vent opens and closes nicely. The front window mechanisms work great. Windshield wipers work. Tires are in great shape and have 70 to 80 percent tread depth remaining. Payment Information: If you are the winning bidder. you must contact us within 24 hours of winning the auction to set up payment arrangements. We require a ____$500. 00______ non refundable option that can be made through PayPal. In the alternative. you can make your non refundable option Cash in person or Bank wire transfer. If the deposit is not received within the required time frame and alternative arrangements are not made. we reserve the right to make the vehicle available for sale to another buyer. The remaining balance is due within _7_ days of making the deposit option. You must fax us your State issued driver’s license after you make the deposit. We reserve the right to keep your deposit and resell the vehicle to another buyer if final payment is not received within _7_ business days.
