1965 Citroen DS19This was my father's project car, t has been inside our warehouse for 10+ years. The car is complete and runs. But it is a project car. It needs brakes and some electrical work before you could drive it reliably. I've tried to break the description down into different areas to make sure I don't miss anything, ut if you have any questions, on't hesitate to ask. I'm not an expert on these cars, ut I will do my best to accommodate you. BodyThe car has been repainted once in the past. The current paint job looks good in the pictures, ut it has its share of chips and scratches, he roof is the worst part. (see pics) There is some minor rust showing in a few places, he worst being the apron under the front bumper (see pics) but nothing structural. No dents or broken lights. The chrome is in relatively good condition for its age.DrivetrainThe car runs very well, ith no weird noises or stumbling. The fuel tank is full of 10 year old gas, bypassed it to start the car. The transmission shifts through all gears. The tires are older Michelins, hey hold air and have good tread.Brakes/SuspensionAs I'm sure you already know, he brake and suspension systems are tied together on this vehicle. Dad had the suspension rebuilt when he first bought the car, owever, hen I tried to raise the vehicle for pictures, luid began pouring out of the drivers side brake caliper. The passenger side caliper is frozen. So the vehicle is going to need brakes before it can be driven or raised up and down. It does roll, nd I have driven it around the parking lot and it would drive itself on a trailer.Interior/ElectricalThe seats and interior are in nice condition. The headliner is missing. All the glass is in good condition. The interior door handles have peeling chrome (see pics)Underhood, he coil has been replaced. The original is still bolted in place for you collectors. The electrical switches on the dashboard are all either intermittent or non functional. I have been able to get some of them to work by jiggling them, o they probably need to be cleaned. This includes the Horn, eadlight switch, nd blower switch. The ignition switch is intermittent as well. I start the car by jumping power from the battery to the coil. The radio does not work. Please examine the pictures closely and ask lots of questions. You are also welcome to come check the car out for yourself.
