1966 CITROEN 2CV. 48337 ORIGINAL MILES.

I have owned this cool CITROEN 2CV for 25 years. I purchased it in 1990 from a retired lady school teacher (documented) and drove it around France for a few weeks before container shipping it to Los Angeles. I used it very occasionally to a few classic car gatherings before putting it in the back of my garage in 1998. I recently bought a new (6 volt) battery, hanged the oil, led the brakes and cleaned the carburetor. I have driven the car around the block a few times and everything is running good!

A few years ago I imported from France the correct seat material from France and the seats were re-upholstered with new bungie rubbers and duplicated exactly to the original specs as the old seats were starting to come unstitched. The car was repainted in the eighties to a almost similar color to the original. I believe one fender was changed but I see no signs at all of any damage. The car is exceptionally solid for it's year with only a few spots where the paint has gone thin.

I do not use this car and would like it to go to a good home. This is a genuine older series car with the 425cc engine. It is NOT a later model imported with dubious illegal paper work like so many in the US! Speedo reads 77837 kms (approx. 48337 miles). This is the original mileage.
