The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this Iconic, 969 Citroën 2CV AZAM. This car is a nice driver, nd offers tremendous fun for the dollar. From the French term “Deux chevaux vapeur,” meaning two steam horses”. Described in the book Drive On; “the Citroën is the most intelligent application of minimalism ever to succeed as a car.” This car was original purchased through the Citroën European delivery program and delivered to Paris, rance. This car has recently been serviced, uns well and is ready to go. She shows 99,267 Kilometers, e believe this mileage to be original. The 2-cylinder 425cc air-cooled motor starts right up and runs well. She definitely lives up to ALL of her nine-horsepower expectations!!! The 4-speed transmission shifts nicely through all of the gears. She just received more then $2000 in service, ncluding NEW BRAKES, luids and axle seals. The CHARLESTON BLACK AND YELLOW paint looks good, ut is not perfect; her rear passenger doors are fading and peeling. Her GRAY bench seats appear to be recently done, s they show little wear. This is an honest, ell cared for example of an early 2CV that we rate both cosmetically and mechanically as a very good driver. It is the type of car you can be proud to own but not scared to enjoy. She is currently being driven on a Connecticut registration. The popularity of the 2CV means that replacement parts are readily available from multiple sources.
