Up for sale is this 1965 Chrysler 300 convertible. This car is on the road and we have been driving it for the last few summers in the condition it is. Car will need a complete restoration but runs & drives decent. Would not hesitate to take car on a trip. Issues we know of: Have to wiggle shifter to get into reverse gear(needs adjustment), ransmission is tight and was told it was rebuilt in 1999(but have no receipt), onvertible roof did work up to last year but now needs fluid and to check power supply(works if you put power right to it), ear back seat is not original, dometer does not work but speedometer does, e believe this engine has just over 100,000 miles on it. Engine once in awhile does give a little puff oil when first started but then runs pretty clean, as told torsion bars need to be backed off because front sits to high and is pretty stiff, eeds new roof, iper arm needs fixing but motor still works, mall chip in windshield, aint has scratches & some gouges, isplaced trunk key so took lock assembly off to get it open hopefully will find the key. Exhaust is still pretty quiet but when you step on it can hear a leak, rame on drivers side has rust spot, as recent new alternator, rakes work good, ome chrome has pitting and dents. There is rust in spots but overall pretty solid. If you are familiar with old cars you can drive this with no problem. We do not know a real lot about vintage cars so please feel free to ask any questions. In my opinion this car would be a good project to do over, retty hard to find car. This car will be sold AS IS. Please view photos to help judge condition for yourself. Please feel free to come see car personally. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS CAR WILL BE NEEDING A COMPLETE RESTORATION AT SOMETIME. Buyer must pick vehicle up or arrange for all transportation to get it to them. Thank you.
