The third generation of Lebarons coupe and convertible came on the J-platform. It was quite modern and aerodynamic for its time and was called stylish by some featuring hide-way headlights, a raked windshield and curved body panels. There were several engines offered with the stock engines being a 2.2 and 2.5 naturally aspirated or turbo-charged but in 1990 they offered a highly dependable and more powerful Mitsubishi 3.0 Liter V6. Also, called the Phantom in Mexico, the 1990 model year offered up a refreshed interior with new dash, door panels and center console design. This particular stunning example has just over 19,000 miles and was owned by the same gentleman from new through 2019 when he passed away.
