Car description

The Lebaron name and roots are deep seeded in style and complete luxury dating back to the early 1930's. However, we are not talking about the early 30's. We are discussing the 1980's....Where luxury and style were almost non-existent. The K-Series of cars by Chrysler may not have been the sexiest things on the block but these cars almost single handedly saved Chrysler with the help of Lee Iacocca. Now not to bash the K-car to much because they had a huge following and now some of these cars have turned in to a cult like following. However, finding a "good' one anymore is near impossible as most of them were driven in to the ground or quite possibly rusted in to the ground. This particular car is what I like to call a "almost one-owner automobile". This car was given to a personal assistant of the Gamble family of Proctor and Gamble at their prominent Harbor Spring, MI estate along with the Fords, Wilsons, Swifts and Wrigleys to name a few. Anyway, this car was used by the Edwards family until she retired for the Gambles and at that time the car was given to her. This would be 2004. This wonderful wagon has clearly never seen snow or salt. The car did go back and forth from MI to FL several years. It is highly optioned with working cruise, A/C, power windows with smoked glass, tilt column, AM/FM Cassette and a power bench seat. The interior is incredible but the lack of rust or corrosion is more impressive. The car has a clean carfax showing quite a bit of service. The headliner was sagging so that was just done. It has had a recent tune up with new battery and is ready for pure enjoyment. I have driven this car down the road and it is quite arguably the nicest one I have ever personally driven. It is showing less than 74K miles on the odometer and is clearly backed up with Carfax. This is a must see for not only K-Car enthusiasts but any collector.
