1970 Chrysler Newport Convertible dodge plymouth mopar ford Chevrolet buick amc

I purchased this car from a local man who owned it for almost 10 years. The car came from the south and was well taken care of over the years. The exterior has 1 repaint on it from along time ago. still looks good but it shows its age some. The interior is really clean and all original except for the carpets. which were replaced 6 years ago or so. The seats. dash. door panels all show really well with no cracks at all in them. The car has a 383 big block and a automatic transmission. The car also has factory air condition. power steering. power brakes. am - 8 track player. The a-c has not worked since I owned it. I never looked into why as I drive with the top down only. The steering wheel is also perfect. no cracks in it at all. The car has a am fm cd player in the glove box for the music as your driving for a much better sound. The front end was all rebuilt with new ball joints and control arms and so on 4 years or so ago. The car drives great. power top works perfectly and the top is white and is in great shape with no tears at all. Things it will need. Gas gauge is inop. the a-c might just need a charge. the frame rail in the front on each side has a small plate welded in. done correctly per my mechanic. The car has dual exhaust also with a great sound. The body is in really nice shape. no rust showing. The 1/4's has a small amount of bondo in them. The car is just a great driver with no excuses. Someone will be getting a great car. Only 1124 made in 1970 and this is the last year for the newport convertible. Car is priced to sell. Bought my wife a 68 chevelle Convertible. Only rust I see that was showing is around the back convertible top area. with the boot on you really do not see this but its there and is about the size of my thumb nail on each side. Like I stated the car was only painted 1 time and shows well. I was asked what would I change. only thing I can think of is the sending unit in the gas tank. thats it.
