Car description

1966 Chrysler Imperial Crown ConvertibleNO RESERVE!!Low Mileage SurvivorOriginal Arizona CarRuns & DrivesThis wonderful example just came out of a 30 year collection. and is being offered at NO RESERVE! You will be hard pressed to find another one of these on the market. Only 514 total Imperial Convertibles were built in 1966. With the options on this car. it could possibly be one of one. This Imperial is equipped with the all mighty 440 cubic inch big block Mopar power plant. and the bullet proof 727 automatic transmission. The engine runs great. and the transmission shifts and acts like it should. The car has not been on the road for many years. Being so. the proud new owner should expect to do some repairs and maintenance to get her road worthy. She has only been driven around on city streets. The Imperial sports many options. that not all Imperials were equipped with in 1966. Factory air conditioning. along with the optional Am/Fm radio are just a couple. The car also has the remote trunk release. The power windows don't seems to want to work at this point. but after sitting for so long. I don't blame them. The power top works great. The body on the car is very straight. It was repainted red back in the 80's. It presents itself well. but is not a show queen finish. There are chips in the paint in the usual places. as you would expect with any car this old. No rust can be found. I only see some very MINOR bubbles starting to show down low on the rear quarter panels behind the rear tires. The under carriage still has all of the factory undercoating still in place. The interior is all original. and needs some love and attention. The power drivers seat switch seems to have come apart and will need to be either fixed or replaced as the seat will not operate. The tilt and telescopic steering wheel works great. The seats are in good condition considering their age. Over all the interior is complete. If you are in the market for a rare and beautiful work of art. bid to your hearts desire. Just know that if you have the final bid. the car is yours. If you have less than a 10 feedback score. please contact me before bidding. Otherwise your bid will be cancelled. If you have any questions please call me at 480-620-0962.
