THIS 1961 IMPERIAL CONVERTIBLE IS LOCATED IN MASSEY MARYLAND. Ebay would not let us change the location unless we changed all our auctions.
The car is stored in MASSEY MARYLAND zip 21650 along with a 1956 Imperial limousine we also have listed here on Ebay. Delivery is possible, please email or call 540 666 0302 if you have questions. The car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction.
This 61 convertible is 95+ % complete in my opinion and is definitely a major project, but it is extremely rare with only 429 built from what I understand. We have no keys and cannot get into the trunk but it is full of parts. There are definitely multiple sets of headlights and tail lights. There appears to be a lot of chrome and stainless trim, hubcaps and engine parts plus a radiator in the trunk. Mileage is unknown but Ebay make you put something in the description.
We have clear title to the car which can be transferred to any State or is valid for export to any country overseas. We can arrange export and the car is close to the port in Baltimore MD which makes shipping to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, England and Europe nice and easy. We have shipped many cars to Europe and Scandinavia and know what is involved and what is needed to get the job done quickly and without problems. The mileage on the title is 64,185 but we have no idea if that is actual.
The car is totally original under the hood but parts have been taken off the engine, we have no idea why. I would say it is about 95+ % complete. The body and interior are in rough shape. This would be a major project or a great parts car. It rolls and steers OK for loading purposes and the tires hold air.
I have included a couple of pictures of the 56 Imperial limousine we have in another auction running right now on Ebay. The limo has the big 354 Hemi and factory air conditioning.
THIS AUCTION IS JUST FOR THE 1961 CONVERTIBLE, NOTHING ELSE.
High bidder wins this rare convertible. Payment is required within 3 days of auction close by wire transfer or cash in person. NO exceptions. If you feel you cannot abide by these simple requirements then simply do bid. Thanks and good luck.
