1960 Imperial convertible. One of only 618 produced in this one-year only body style. Loaded car with air conditioning, power swivel seat, autronic eye and Flightsweep trunk lid plus standard Imperial features of power steering, power brakes and power windows. No signs of accident damage. Extremely solid car. Usual rust areas on 1960 Imperials - hood, rockers, wheel wells, trunk floor and trunk lip all look solid. Only known rot on the car is the inside of the lower quarters, which is flat sheet metal and easily replaced. The outer lower quarter areaopposite the inner panel appears to have been repaired when viewed from the inside. The outside of the body shows no sign of repair in this area andthe body lines look good.I bought this car to restore and am only selling because I found another 60 Imperial convertible that is road ready. We have a set of CROWN letters to replace the set thatis missingfrom the passenger fender. Only known missing pieces are 2" long stainless steel trim pieces at the base of the convertible top, courtesy lamp lenses, and plastic emblems on front of each fender. The emblems are available from Emblemagic and the courtesy lamp lenses are available on Ebay.Car has been sitting for years but could be turned into a driver with some work. The car does not currently have a fuel tank installed. We do have a brand new fuel tank, filler neck, and fuel level sender that are included with the car. We have run the engine by connecting the fuel pump to a fuel can. My plan was to redo all the cosmetics given how rare and desirable these cars are. We have photographed the car on a lift and encourage you to come see the car in person and we will be happy to show it to any inspector that you choose to send. Odometer shows 67,293 and do not know if correct. Comparable to top of the line Cadillac and Buick. Highest end of Chrysler, Dodge, Desoto and Plymouth Mopar brands.Call 707-712-9464 between 8 and 6 PM PST for more information.
