You could be apart of Chryslers "100 Million Dollar Look"!
Up for auction is a 99% original California 1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe "barn find". This car was purchased from a family that kept it for generations in the condition that you see it. Last recorded on the California roads back in the early 1970's. It is fully registered and tagged once again in its home state and will be until Feb 2020. The car has had a quick tune up/solid once over and the 331 Hemi idols like it did back in the 50's. This luxury four door sedan is in operational condition and can be driven onto a transport of the buyers choice/expense. Being the age that it is it will require several hoses/bushings to be replaced along with the 4-ply tires; as expected. Undercarriage is amazing clean with no cancer to speak of and still has the factory undercoating. The only rust visible is isolated surface rust mainly in the trunk. The original gas tank was damage by a local tow truck company and was replaced by a new tank. The mechanical fuel pump was also replaced. The original tank, astonishingly clean inside and out, will come with the car and can be fixed as the only damage is isolated to one of the corners. This beauty also comes with several documents/receipts that show service from its early years. A fully detailed several hundred page Chrysler service manual will also accompany the car.
