1966 Big Block 383 Chrysler Newport with a 727 Automatic transmission and four wheel drum brakes. This is a very original, straight and solid car. Car starts right up, runs and drives nice, as it is my wife's weekend cruise car. Trunk is solid, sheet metal is super straight, and the only rust to speak of is the little spot above the left rear wheel well (see pictures). Trim is in generally good shape; the rear "Chrysler" is missing two letters and there are a couple of small dings in the grill, but nothing too bad. The side and window trim (the rare stuff) is in great shape and all complete. The bumpers just need a good polishing. The interior has been redone sometime in the 70s or 80s, I'm guessing from the period diamond pleated upholstery, it's faded, but not torn. The dash is cracked, but has a cover on it currently. The gauges need attention, as the speedometer is off, odometer stopped working about four months ago (however, due to the condition of the car, I do believe that it is a well under 100,000 car) and the others work intermittently. The turn signals and lights all work. The car is obviously not perfect, but for a 52 year old, largely unmolested car, it is in very solid condition and the aluminum 15" slot wheels give it a nice "period" look. I've described it as honestly as I can, feel free to email with questions, as I have probably forgotten something. Good luck!
