For Sale is a one owner 1969 Chrysler New Yorker 4 Door Hardtop (no center pillar). The car is 100 % complete and original, including paint and interior. I purchased the car from the estate (owner by a 91 year old man), includes a clear Kansas Title. The car was built in Michigan on February 22, 1969, it was sold new in Larned, Kansas and been in the area since new.PLEASE SEE ALL 24 PHOTO'S. This may be the best 1969 Chrysler New Yorker in the country. The condition is as follows:
Body: Overall very straight and solid, the entire car is very nice, 100% clean and rust free. The exterior paint color is Spinnaler White with Black vinyl top (the top is original and looks like new, there is now rust under the top), the paint is all original, with very few flaws from normal use. There are no dents or body work. All glass is good including the windshield. The grills, bumpers, chrome is complete and very nice (the rear bumper has one very minor bump). The underside of the car is clean. All doors, hood, and trunk opens and close like new. The lower trunk molding has the original selling dealer sticker that could be removed. The trunk is clean and original, the black carpet looks like new, the spare, jack and hardware is complete and looks nice. There is a new upper and lower radiator hose laying on top of the spare tire (these were left by the original owner).
Mechanical: the power train is complete,this has an original engine everything under the hood is complete and looks good, all original paint. The engine runs very good has always been well maintained (see the last photos, the original owner marked when the car was serviced on the door jamb and underhood) the oil was changed every 2000 miles. All brakes, steering, and suspension are original and complete, the car runs, drives and stops very well. The engine is a 440 cubic inch 350 horse power 4 barrel, the transmission is a 727 heavy duty torqueflight automatic. Has had the following service work done in the last 5000 miles: carburetor overhaul, brake work, wheel bearing repack, radiator recore and cleaning, new tires, battery, and engine tune up. The A/C works fine and blows cold air.
Interior: The interior shows no wear all seats, carpet, headliner, original floor mats are in great condition. The color is Giallo Gold Metillac, the dash is very clean and nice, all door panels are good. Photo 11 shows the original floor mat, and photo 12 shows the carpet under the floor mat.
