*If you want to negotiate or know more about the car, message me.
My grandma bought this car from another little old lady back in the 80s (two owners) and kept it garaged/barely drove it. She loved the attention this California beach car would get on the highway. I've inherited it but don't have room for it/time to take care of it (even though it's so cool!). It's registered on movievehicles.com and has been used in several TV shows and movies set in the 70s/80s (you can earn about $100 a day doing this). Just recharged the AC and it's nice and cold (but I think it's probably got a slow leak somewhere). It just passed smog but it runs rich and the technician said it should get a carburetor rebuild. Some discoloration around rear bumper but no rust on the frame that I can see. I have the hood ornament, but it snapped off sometime in the 90s and needs to be reattached. Chrome/plastic wheel well ornamentation could use a re-glue as well. Some sun damage on driver's seat leather upholstery but overall the interior is super plush and basically looks brand new.
Regular oil changes/tune ups.
I have records for the following:
06/15/2017 - New Starter
02/24/2015 - New Voltage Regulator
2015/01/21 - New Battery/New Tires
2014/04/18 - New Transmission/Soft Top.
2009/01/30 - New Water Pump
2009/02/02 - New Thermostat, Gasket, Bypass hose
19.5 gallon gas tank. 8-cylinder engine American made.
Would love to see it go to a collector/someone with an appreciation for well-kept American classics.
