Car description

For your consideration is probably one of if not THE nicest 1979 Chrysler 300's in existence. This is a two-owner carthat was completely disassembled and meticulously restored as a father-daughter project in 1986-87. Many new-old-stock parts were used during the restoration in order to bring the car back as close to as-new condition as possible.
The Chrysler 300 was not just a warmed over Cordoba as many claimed when production was announced in 1978, but was a legitimate high performance full-size luxury sedan. With total production of just 4,292 units in the US and Canada, the '79 Chrysler 300 Limited Edition is indeed a rare car.
The A74 package included the E58 360 cubicinch 4v Heavy Duty HP Police Engine, D36 A727 Heavy Duty non-lockup Transmission,D91 9.25" Heavy Duty Rear Axle with Sure-Grip, Heavy Duty torsion bars, front and rear Heavy Duty anti-sway bars, Heavy Duty shock absorbers with special valving, Heavy Duty rear springs and special Firm-Feel power steering, along with special striping and badging packages. This was not just your grandma's Cordoba!!
This beauty was entered at the Mopar Nationals twice, and received both a 1st and 2nd place award in its' class. The 300 has also won many other awards at regional and local car shows.
The fit and finish is excellent. The condition of paint, underhood and undercarriage areas is gorgeous. The interior is excellent as well with normal wear on the driver seat. The original "battery box" comes with the car as well as the original radio with CB option (ahh, the 70's!!).
This is a gorgeous car that can be used as a daily or occasional driver, or be campaigned as a show car and be very competitive. It is definitely a conversation piece and draws a crowd wherever it goes. You could not begin to build this car for the asking price.
