Hello,
Up for sale is my mint '86 Chrysler Laser. It has the optional 2.2l Turbo. It makes 146hp. It is optioned with the grey/blue velour interior, Code B1 Ice Blue Metallic paint, A/C, Heat, Cruise, Tilt, Radio, etc...
I am the third owner of the vehical. The gentleman I bought it from was in the Air Force and had it stored for 7 years. He put 3k miles on it for the time he owned it. The list of parts that he had installed and have less than 1k miles on them are:
BRAND NEW Gabriel shocks and struts
BRAND NEW brakes, calipers, pads,
BRAND NEW radiator
BRAND NEW fuel pump and lines
BRAND NEW battery
BRAND NEW Genuine Mopar "Laser" Bra
BRAND NEW (still in package) Mopar Laser Splash Guards. Don't want to drill into this car.
BRAND NEW Kelly Charger tires
Original wheels that were refinished
I have a book of receipts for it. The wheels alone were $700.
I also have the original owners manuals, and the 1986 Chrysler Postcard, Sales Brochure, and Magazine Article.
Now for the condition. Every fluid is crystal clear. They were just changed, and the car is driven very little. It has 50,800 ORIGINALMILES! The interior is all original and doesn't have a single flaw. Not a dash crack, not a stain, not a pet hair. I keep it garaged under a cover and detail it before every drive. The paint is original and never been repainted. It is gorgeous. Most people don't believe me that isn't hasn't been repainted. All the tags and stickers are still in the jams and hood. Under the wheel wells, and rockers, there is NO RUST. There is a few chips, very few. But who would look under there anyways? If you do, check on the underside. You can still see the shiny blue on the floor pans. You could eat off it. This car is worry free. Doesn't leak or drip a bit, all gauges and lights work, it's a flat show car. But you could also drive it and not worry. But if you are looking to fly back into the 80s, what's a better way than being in a laser with a cassette player? Grow out your mullet and pull the trigger on this car. It's a show stopper. I've taken it to shows almost every sunny weekend, and people cannot believe the documentation, condition, rarity, and cool factor of this car. It's something you don't see everyday unless it's rusted in a junk yard.636-751-2120
