Now at no reserve. This 1948 Chrysler New Yorker convertible has the sought after Highlander trim package with leather. The car has great eye appeal and is a proven driver. The red exterior is complimented well with the tan top and special Highlander interior. Due to health of previous owner. the car had sat for two years. yet a little gas in the carb and a replacement battery and it idled smoothly and quietly on it's own within 5 seconds of cranking over. Wow! I got a half brake peddle on the first push and full peddle on second. We did loosen the top and lowered it about half way and then back up with no hesitation of the powered mechanism. This is really an impressive car. As it presently is setting in a museum and being winter time. we did not drive it. but I have great confidence that it will drive properly without issue. If it does not perform properly. you will have the right to refuse the deal on day of pick up. But that just is not going to happen with this car. This car was a friend's that is no longer with us. so I can not give you all details. but I will answer all questions as best I can. I am selling for his children that now own the car.
