Car description |
---|
Older restoration, ready for restoration or great hot rod or modified project. Very solid. Doors open & close easily. 298cc straight 8 engine, driven into current location. Parked in dry garage with easy access.
Hood is dealer installed nose that makes it look more like a 1935 model, includes an original low radiator to use if original hood (not included) is installed. Rear Desoto fender skirts included. Converted to 12 volt electrical system, gauges work correctly.
Dash & gauges beautiful. Will need new interior. Seats are included - they were recovered in older restoration. Wood in floorboard will need to be replaced. Most chrome is in place, including both original bumpers. Missing some interior hardware - window cranks, handles
I had a gas tank made & installed. Also I had entire brake system rebuilt. Drove the car to its present location.
Some rust through on hood above carburator & very back of trunk floor (if you could open - closed, enter trunk from back seat). Over all metal on car is very solid.
See pictures for condition.
Could be a great restored car or fun, fun project. Also see my add for 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 5 Passenger Coupe.
