Car description

HISTORY: 1984 Chrysler LeBaron "Woody"Mark Cross Edition convertible with only 55,902 original miles! In its day, his car was a technological marvel equipped with electronic fuel injection, urbo-charged engine, nd a digital instrument cluster with a talking computer on board which was an innovation that few cars had. Reminders include, a door is ajar", don't forget your keys", lease fasten your seat belts","all monitored systems are functioning", your headlights are on", tc.A similarcar was made famous on episodes of Seinfeld (the Jon Voight car) as well as the motion picture Planes, rains and Automobiles starring Steve Martin and John Candy.I have the complete history of the car prior to purchasing it in September 2000 with only 27,000 miles on the odometer. I have maintenance records, eceipts, he oil was changed religiously every 3,000 miles and the car was garage kept and only driven during the summer months. It has never been in an accident. This RARE car was 1 of only 1,105 Town & Country convertibles sold in 1984! EXTERIOR: beautiful mink brown paint with nicely matched, tan vinyl top and glass rear window. The simulated wood looking trim on both sides of the car has some wear along the top edges. The convertible topisin newcondition (replaced in 2011 @ $1,625)and the electric power up/down switch on the console works smoothly. The tires have plenty of tread wear left on them and come with 14" wire-spoke wheel covers. The undercarriage is virtually rust free (see picture). Like any 31 year old vehicle, here are minor imperfections to the finish (some light scratches, ings)INTERIOR: saddle-colored leather seats are in great condition with no tears or rips. There is some sun-fading to the upper front and rearseat backs. The arm rest has some cracksin the leather as shown.ENGINE: Runs great, specially on highway with added boost from the Turbo, rivesquiet with no noises or rattles, lignment steers straight and true, nd shifts smoothly. No engine leaks or smoke.MECHANICAL: I haven't tested the cassette player (no cassette available). Everything else works as it should with the exception of (1) the trip odometer reset button, 2) the A/C blows cool (not ice cold) and (3) both rear passenger windows are very slow to go up and down (will need replacement)-----This vintage car is a head turner because it is so unique. It is a wonderful car that I've enjoyed immensely during the years my family was much younger back in September 2000. In the past 15 years I've driven it less than 2,000 milesper year on average. I'm selling it because my sons are off to college now and it isn'tdriven much anymore....just kept in the garage most of the year. I hope I haven't left anything out in my description.Deposit required within 24 hours. Buyer responsible for pick-up and customer must pay for vehicle in full within 72 hoursby eithercertified checkor cash (but Imay accept Paypal payment if necessary
