I've gone and done it again...one too many projects.I reallywanted this car as it is so cool and mostly complete with an incredible body! The simple fact is, need to finish my other car and that is the only reason this car is for sale.I have done a bit of work to get it readyfor restoration. The body is almost perfect. No visible rust on body and it appears to have been very well cared for in its past. There are just a few pinhole spots in the floor under the rear seat and in the trunk well under spare tire. Paint looks as if it were repainted about 20 years ago. I truly feel that the last owner was a body guy as it nearly flawless. I also show pictures of the inner wheel well and battery tray where there is the only realreplacementwill need to be done. There is a little spot where radiator was too with rust. The engine is missing a few parts (see pics) but is free and spins. It is a 301 Poly Spitfire. Transmission and rear seem to be complete. My plan was to redo engine with new intake, nternals, tc and try to get 300hp out of it. These engines are well-known for creating tremendous torque. I have started to take apart interior to clean up, nd seating and door trim, tc is complete, lthough needs serious cleaning or replacement of panels. Dash is there (and really cool) but is missing a few gauges.Suspension seems to be original, gain, had a plan to update to "Mustang II" style suspension. I have taken tires off to view, nd while dirty, s in good shape and car rolls easily. On the negative side, t is missing front bumper and chrome trim around front lights. Also missing one tail light and exterior door handles.Good - Does have complete grille and rear bumper and lots of chrome trim (with some pitting).Windows roll up and down, ar rolls easily, ody is great!I as planning on redoing engine, suspension and interior over this winter and drive next spring and summer and then repaint thefollowing winter and is totally doable (if you don't have other projects...)Whilethe Windsor was the most produced car from Chrysler in 1955, he coupe was fairly rare, nly like 15,000 or so were made and it was the first year of the Chrysler 300, he first car to have 300 hp! Completely topped up, hese things bring $40,000,which is totally doable restored or as a restomod. Imagine a 6.1L Hemi in this thing!!!Despite the money andtime I have in this, am willing to do auction at No Reserve! You will Enjoy your new Chrysler !!! I do have transferable paper work to register in your name. I do not have ability to ship, o that is up to you to arrange, ut I will help however I can.
