Car description

1967 Chrysler 300 2 dr Hardtop

Up for Auction: awesome very rare cool old MoparSurvivor classic Cruise Mobile !! 440 motor, t has factory A/C toowhich hasnt worked for yrs, ut seems to be verycomplete making for less cost to get it going again. This is the ORIGINAL CHRYSLER 300 !!! and if you have anewer 1 sitting in your garage, t would be only fitting tobuy this and restore it so you can have a matched pairin your driveway, sing this one for cruise nights and nightsout on the town once finished.Want me to End it EARLY ? sure, ake me a fair offer.Ive seen junk sell here on ebay for stupid money and ourcar a is almost 100% rust free Az car.PAINT IT AND REDO THE FRONT SEATS AND ITS ALMOSTDONE !!! easily enough to take to the cruise nites.Do the headliner and backseat and its really nice !!Some brief history about the car and current condition:Parked for about 20+ yrs here in Tucson the cars startto get back on the road started about a yr ago.The carb was missing, o a used Holley 600 was installedand after cleaning out the fuel tank and lines, t cameto life pretty easily. In the process a new fuel pump likefactory was installed too.

Also because its been here in the desertthere is little to no rust on the body etc. We have plenty ofpics below to show proof of our claims. Also, ake sure you check out our Feedback here on EbayIts there for a reason and tells potential bidders/buyersthey can rest assure if they buy one of our cars, hings willgo smooth and well.To date, ve yet to see anyone else market their cars the waywe do and our prices we try to be realistic as well.We want to sell cars, ot sit on them for months.

DRIVETRAIN: Mopars famous 440 ci 4v motor connectedto their equally as well known 727 trans. Hit the key andthe car fires right up and sounds pretty good. A Holley carbnow sits where the original Carter use to sit. I may try to swapcarbs this week, s I think I have a good Carter on the shelf. No weird noises or smoke from the car. I may need some tuningup, ut the way it sits Ive driven it down the street to the localQuick Trip to get gas and see how it drives. Tires on the rear arealmost like new, ront tires good too, ut a little smaller then stock. It has a recently new installed fuel pump and PS pressure hose too.The gas tank was dropped and cleaned out too because the car hadsat for dormant since the mid 90s. Even after sitting so long it cameback to life pretty well. We also did some brake work to the car. Some shoes, ines and wheel cylinders. Just recently the brakes dontstop the car like it use to, nd Im thinking the Brake Booster maybe going bad, ecause you have to push alot harder on the pedalto get the car to stop, ut it does and Ive been still moving it aroundthe parking lot etc with no problem.Under the hood is very original, nd un-molested. No signs of anyonetrying to hot rod and just keeping it a cruiser. Which is what itwas made for :)Could use a good cleaning and probably a tune up.Some mild surface rust in a few areas, ut no signs ofany body damage here too.

INTERIOR: You are looking at whats left of the original REDvinly interior. Its pretty hard and beat up, ut wouldnt takemuch to make nice again. Redo the seats and headliner andit would be fine to drive around as is. The car has a nicefactory PW option, ut so far I havent see any of them work.So not sure if its the switches, uses or ?Even with alot of sun and heat damage, nbsp;still easier and cheaper then fixing rust on aneastcoast car for weeks.Looks like some of the gauges are working on the dash, utnot sure about the radio (could just need a speaker)Floors are solidand most of the chrome inside is in really great shape too.Vinyl, arpet and rubber is in pretty bad shape. The Red interior is classic for this yr car.

EXTERIOR: Original color was white and you are seeing whats leftof what looks to be a old re-paint from the 70s. Its baked !Body is really straight for its age and only saw a few small dents around it.The front grill is in very goodshape and so is most of the stainless outside.Windshield has one star in it, ut barely noticeablerest of the glass seems great.Front bumper on the dr side did get bumped and you can see thedent in it. Not horrible, ut worth mentioning. Keep in mind this caris a SURVIVOR and NOT RESTORED !!

SUSPENSION: all factory the best I can tell. Im sure some bushingsand stuff will be worn or close to worn out. Shocks feel okayand tires as mentioned earlier not bad. Torsion bar front end makesfor lowering the front end, retty easy. Little to NO RUST under thecar with solid floors / trunk and no rusted out bolts, gain makingit so much easier to do repairs on the car as needed.Plan on some restoration here too. Do as little or as much as youwant during the resto.

There you have it, robably The BEST represented 300s on Ebay.Shows you all the good as well as any bad, ope you appreciate them.We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.People wait months for a car this solid to come up for saleand even if you have to pay shipping to your area, t still beatspaying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these daysspeaks volumes. Also, f you buy a car thats been "restored", ho knows what sortof surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs arefast, or a quick buck and quality suffers. Our auctions have NOTHING to hide .Restore a car like this yourself or locally and you knowexactly what you have in the end.
