WHAT makes this car RARE?????
Let’s extrapolate the production number using the Black Book quantities by option
The 427/435HP option was only ordered on 2,722 (7%) of the Corvettes
Only 4,355 (11%) of the Corvettes had side mounted exhaust
Only 1,661 (58%) of the Corvettes with 435HP had F41 special suspension
Only 3,266 (20%) of the convertibles had vinyl covered hardtops
Only 8,073 (21%) of the Corvettes had P02 Deluxe wheel covers
78% of the Corvettes had 4 speed transmissions
43% of the Corvettes were convertibles.
That means this is probably one of only “2” ever produced.
This car has undergone a high quality frame-off restoration that was completed in 2002. All of the work is documented in a meticulously organized 3 ring binder with just about every receipt for every piece of work that was completed. There are also many restoration photos of the entire process.
Since 2006 the car has been driven sparingly but regularly, nd stored in a heated facility and received regular maintenance as required.
Take a look at the photos and you can see it looks almost as good as the day the restoration was completed. The car starts, uns, nd drives like a 1969 435HP Corvette should.
The car also comes with reproduction red line tires which were used during judging.
The rebuilt engine has many of the original components and the detailed engine compartment has a correct smog A.I.R. system with the correct date codes. The carburetors also have the correct part numbers and date codes and the list continues……..
Talk about investment potential, he 1969’s are just starting to get the pricing respect they deserve, uy this car now while it is still a BARGAIN…….
