Car description

*Very Rare 1993 Chevrolet Blazer 5speed Manual 4X4*Due to other priorities I am forced to sell my truck. It is a 1993 Chevrolet Full Size Blazer Silverado optioned with the MM5 RPO NV3500 5-Speed manual transmission. To my knowledge this truck was sitting for a few years when the person I purchased the truck from attempted to get it back to running condition. Unfortunatelyhe had to move across the country and that is when I bought it. This truck is an awesome truck to drive! 4X4 works like a champ.I have documented history of repairs to the truck back to 2000.The truck does have a Jasper engine that was replaced on 10/2001 with 99,950 miles on it. Recently here are the list of things that have been replaced:
  • Front brake pads and rotors. Also both front brake calipers. Some brake lines are new.
  • Distributor cap, otor, nd spark plugs
  • Clutch slave & master cylinder
  • Muffler and tailpipe
  • Starter
  • Oxygen sensor
  • Transmission service
  • Rear diff service, eft axle shaft, heel bearing and seal
  • Driveshaft
  • Rear glass struts
  • Both power steering hoses
  • New head unit (radio)
I am an automotive technician and I will be very honest on all the repairs the truck will need.
  • The engine has a light misfire. It is not bad enough to cause the check engine light to come on or prevent the truck from being driven. I drove from Maryland to Ohio and back last month with it.
  • There is a roaring/ vibration 50+ MPH from the rear diff as well as the pinion seal is leaking.
  • The A/C works but leaks. I retrofitted the R12 system to 134a and recharged. The A/C worked very nicely but immediately found that the compressor leaks so it worked for about a day.
  • The truck could use a new set of tires
  • The gas gauge is off.
  • The drivers window needs help going up and the passenger window works intermittently.
  • This is a truly a nice, are truck that needs just a little more TLC to make a true road beast again. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
