This is one awesome El Camino. It starts with the body. It was painted about 15 years ago using aircraft Emron red paint. It has a custom hand made one of a kind cowl hood that matches the air cleaner perfectly. All the weather stripping was replaced and the car has not been outside in the weather since. There are a few chips in the paint now in the bed and on one of the wheel wells. The paint is starting to bubble a little on the driver rocker panel. That being said nobody would know that it had been 15 years since it was painted. The paint is bright and looks great. It has never been buffed and still shines like a mirror. It turns every head on the street and shows. The engine starts with a 350 4 bolt main block bored 40 over. New hypereutectic pistons and new balancer were balanced with the rotating assembly at the machine shop. The heads are aluminum generating about a 10.5 to 1 compression. The heads have 2.05 intake 1.6 exhaust valves, crew in studs, ardened push rods, luminum roller rockers, nd stud girdle. Also windage tray has been installed and a crankcase evacuation system. The intake is a high rise Weiand Team G with 1" spacer topped with a Barry Grant Mighty Demon 750 carb topped by an air filter with top element. The heart is a Crower solid lift cam -duration @.05 is Intake-262 exhaust is 266, ift intake 543, xhaust is 557. The exhaust goes through 3" headers out 3" pipes that go out behind the rear wheels. (That is right 3" exhaust out behind the rear wheels; you know what a pain that is to do) Radiator is Griffin aluminum with electric fan, ontrolled by and automatic thermostat switch. Transmission is a bullet proof built TH350 and 3500 stall converter. New u-joints in the balanced driveshaft. The rear end is a 411 posi. Rear wheel are Mickey Thompson street E.T. drag radials wrapped around old school Cragar rims. Interior also has been redone. The seats are swivel seats that have been upholstered with the door panels to match the paint job. Grant GT steering wheel. B&M shifter gets you through the gears. There is no heat or a/c installed. The gauges are all very accurate Autometer electric gauges that have been custom inset into the dash. The speedometer can be calibrated for any tire change or gear change at the touch of a button. Stereo is Pioneer CD player with new speakers in the dash and behind the seats. This is without a doubt the best interior I have ever seen in an El Camino. This is a great car. It turns every head I drive by. The reaction on the street with it is phenomenal. I reserve the right to end auction early, s I do have it for sale locally as well.

ThecameraI took the pictures with before had the wrong date on it and I dont know how to get that off, f you are wondering why the old date on the pictures.I added another couple of pictures of the engine. I recently installed aserpentinebelt drive system with a flex fan. Also changed the carb to a 650 holley to get it to idle better. I noticed that the speedometer is not working right now. I have not looked into it yet but it worked the last time I had it out so not sure whats up now.. I have installed a set of Hancook tires on the back so as not to tear up the drag radials. I will throw the drag radials in the back of the car so they do still go with it. I have had some people looking at it local I really think it should go well over $7500. I have $4000 in the motor and about $2000 in the transmission alone.Good luck bidding
