Nicely restored and resto-modified 1965 Impala Convertible, tarting life a 327/powerglide powered car,it was completelyrestored and rebuilt from the ground up. This was a very expensive and thorough nut and bolt restoration and no expense was spared. It took over 2 years to complete, nd wellover $100,000+ was invested. Just the engine and transmission alonecost over $20,000 from GM.The entire car was completely dissembled anda new505HP dry sump LS7 Z06 GMFuel injected crate engine and a Phoenix transmissions4L70ESX(built to handle 575HP)transmission, nd 12 bolt rear end was installed.The complete exterior sheetmetal was media blasted andpainted Corvette Quicksilver, completely new interiorand convertible top(made from modern canvas and solid glass rear window)wasinstalled. Even the dash cluster was completely restored.Every single piece of chrome and stainless trimwas redone or re-plated.All of thesuspension was rebuilt and 4 wheel disk brakes and vintage air A/C system was addedto make the car much nicer to drive.It's brutallyfast and is a total sleeper and has been a crowd favorite since it was completed in 2011, nd has only 671 miles since then.
