Thank you all for the overwhelming compliments and interest! WowI've received many inquiries about this car so I've decided to update the listing with additional information. Please let me know if there is any additional information you want and I will be happy to share.

Question:How long have you owned the car?Answer: I've owned the car for about 10 years.Question: How many owners has the car had?Answer:I believe I am the 3rd owner. First was the father and son who bought the car and owned it for around 25 years second was their family friend who owned it for a few years and third was me.Question: Has the car been garaged?Answer:Yes the car has been garaged (though I've pulled it out to sell it) and I believe the prior owners always had it garaged as well.Question: Can you send pics of the motor?Answer: Sure I have added more pictures of the motor to the listing please see them with the rest of the images at the end.Question: Does everything work on the car? How about the gauges? The clock? The radio/8-track?Answers:Yes all the gauges the radio 8-track and even the clock works (old vettes clocks are notorious for stopping -this one still works :) - Also the prior owner mentioned he thought the car might have a small drain on the battery (also something extremely common to old vettes) so he installed a cutoff switch which fixed the issue. Apparently this is an easy thing to fix if you want to remove the switch but I never bothered since I prefer a cutoff on my cars for the added security anyway.Question: The car looks to have all the bells and whistles which sounds too good to be true what options are on the car?Answer: It's true. When the car was ordered from the dealer it was purchased with every single option available. This included L82 350-cid V8 210-hp 4-barrel Power Windows Rear Window Defogger Air Conditioning Sport Mirrors Gymkhana Suspension Optional Rear Axle Ratios Speed Control 350ci. 210hp engine 4-spd Close Ratio Manual Trans. Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column AM-FM Radio Stereo w/ 8-track Luggage/Roof Panel Rack Aluminum Wheels - For perspective there were only 2040 cars made that year that came with the L-82 4-speed. Many less were bought 'fully-loaded' many less were bought with such a nice color combination and even less are probably even still around let alone original and in this condition. This is a one of a kind car. In addition to the documentation these were all of the reasons that I had to add this car to my collection when I originally bought it.Question: You mentioned you have lots of documentation. What documentation comes with the car?Answer:I have two full albums. One includes a copy of the original invoice the original owner's manual corvette maintenance book interior and exterior color swatch pages the 77 chevrolet vehicle line-up pamphlet corvette posterand a duplicate laminated window sticker... essentially everything you would have received and walked out of the dealership when you bought the car in 1977 -all in excellent to mint condition. The other album has receipts for nearly everything that was ever done pictures of the restoration the dates names numbers and addresses of every mechanic that ever worked on it and what they did. This level of documentation is unheard-of. There is honestly so much that I never took the time to read it all in detail but I've never seen a car with more or better documentation. When I would take the car to shows the judges would look in amazement. I believe the documentation + the car's condition make this car the best 77 you'll ever find.Question: What is the reserve price? Do you want the car's full value? Can I make you a cash offer right now to end the auction? How much do you want for the car?Answers: I understand the car is desirable and I really genuinely appreciate the many inquiries interest and bids -thank you all! However I'd really prefer to be fair and honor the auction process unless I am simply made an offer that I just can't walk away from. How much is the car worth? Its difficult to put a value on something so subjective to the buyer... like anything it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. "Collectors" know the best way to value a classic is by using the NADA Guide prices ('book value') based on the condition (low average high) and location (07417) of the car. It is fair to say this car sits squarely in the 'High' section which is described as follows: "This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well-maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint trim and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition." Add in the documentation and it's probably worth a lot more butNADA doesn't know that so they say $32070... let's see what eBay says. What is the reserve? Isn't the one thing that's supposed to be unknown?:)Honestly I never know what to set the reserve at so I set it to 'roughly' 40% below the book value. These cars appreciate every year so for anything less I would probably prefer to just put the car in long term climate controlled storage.Question: You mentioned the car has "extras" -what else is included?Answer:In addition to the documentation the car also comes with: a One-piece 'Astro Glass' Top (if you take off the T-Tops you can put this top on in their place for a full-size sun/moon roof -these go for about $400 new) vinyl/cloth T-Top covers replacement headlights belts gaskets etc. which I believe are all AC Delco (OEM) components and form-fitted cotton car-cover (for indoor covering). I also have a handful of period correct 8-tracks. In addition to the documentation and the vehicle's key's and title its all included with the car when sold.Question: Is there any chance you can arrange to ship the car for me?Answer:I can assist to ship the car. However the buyer would still need to cover the cost and ultimately assume responsibility. Additionally I would need your address and we would need to coordinate the shipping date. Thanks again for the overwhelming interest. I wish you the best of luck with this auction. Hopefully one lucky bidder will be the new owner this Saturday night! Happy bidding!
