This is a 1979 Chevrolet one-ton regular cab pick-up with a long-bed. I am selling this for my daughter it is her first vehicle. She wanted a classic 4-wheel drive pick-up to fix up and now has realized she needs something more economical to drive. It is with a little regret we are listing this because we think it was a good find for someone wanting to fix up a truck like this and totally restore it. If I had the money I would just keep it and restore it myself but my kid needs a commuter vehicle. The person we purchased this from told us the mileage was correct it says 28K. I can't 100% guarantee it's true but we believe it probably is based upon how this truck looks and runs. It was reportedly in storage for a while and special ordered for a welding company. It has been painted by the last owner as you can see the tailgate is different. We put the original tailgate back on as the previous owner had a custom tailgate. You can see the original paint on the tailgate. The vehicle is very clean. Very minimal surface rust but not many spots even with surface rust. The body is completely straight with no damage as is the under carriage. I think it would take very little to really "cherry" this thing out. The truck is all original has not been modified never lifted and is a solid truck. Back when they made these trucks you could custom order trucks. The rear has a 14 bolt axle probably the heaviest one available at the time. The front I have read is either a Dana 60 or 70 not sure how to tell. It has the 400 ci motor and TH400 transmission. Has manual locking hubs. I don't think these often came with some of the features this truck has. Even the air conditioner works good. The tires are good with probably 85-90% tread and I have tried to include enough pictures so you can see the whole vehicle. We did replace the radiator with a new one as it had deteriorated with age and sitting and have maintained oil changes etc. Thank you for looking.
