Car description

First let me say this car is my pride and joy! i hate that i have to do this but circumstances warrant it. this is a 1967 true super sport nova. i bought the car in 1996? i think from a freind who was having some health issues. it was a very nice car then with 29000 original miles. he had just completed a mild restoration because it sat in a garage for many years before he bought it. i then i drove it ocassionaly on the street and bracket raced it for 2 yrs. i parked it with 31000 miles on it. it sat in my garage til 2009. i started a long tedious build on the car with intentions of drag racing again after my kids were a little older. after getting a ton of money time invested and seeing the results the build changed to being a 100% street car with shows as a side benefit. here are the details. it has a heidts mustang II front clip 4 bar rear suspension minitubbed frame rails are not cut!. narrowed 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears.4 wheel disc brakes. the engine is a nasty 6.0l 10.8 to 1 lsx. it features ls3 heads lunati valve springs Pat G custom specd cam(231 239 .617 .624 on a 110 with huc lobes). a built th350 trans ( local race trans builder) custom built revmax 4000 converter. THIS CAR IS A MONSTER ON THE STREET! while not perfect this paint is super nice! the pictures will show that! im not afraid to be perfectly honest about this car nor do i have any delusions of grandeure about its value. this is not a 70k car. its also not a 20k car! here are the cons of the car as i see them. there is no heat or ac the wiper arms are the wrong length( thanks chevy2only). there are a couple paint defects. there is one chip that i have repaired no one has ever pointed at it! there is another tiny one in the door jamb. and a blister on the rocker( not rust) i think the base is lifting off epoxy. easy fix! no one has ever pointed that out either. other wise this was a nut and bolt restoration/ restomod. every nut and bolt was removed car was totally disassembled stripped paint from every nook and cranny. all metal work performed every body seam welded shut and smoothed even the roll cage has been smoothed. then sealed with spi epoxy body work on top of the epoxy blocked 4 times and painted dbc 9700. the blackest blck on the planet no other toners! then 3 coats of spi clear blocked with 800 then 3 more coats of clear. color sanded dead flat and polished with meguires m105 m205. the interior work includes smoothed dash (pics) all new everything. in the pics you will see it has the original rearview mirror as it had a sentimental value to me will be replaced with a brand new one by auctions end. the gauges are autometer phantoms the shifter is a quicksilver in the console. pyle 7 inch dvd/cd/stereo and pioneer speakers front and back. all the bright work is in excellent condition! every belt hose brake line fuel line and wire are new! the reserve will be set at half of my outta pocket cash. keep in mind i did all the work myself except the chrome! shipping is buyers responsibility. i will help load it on the trailer. if you have any questions i can be reached at 9375599835 between 7 am 10 pm et. i have a ton of pictures if you would like to see more just let know. thanks for looking and happy bidding!
