Car description |
---|
Here I have a 1969 Camaro project car. I have to sell as I am losing my shop space and I do not have any place to keep it. It has to go
I started this project with a rather rough Camaro with a good Iowa title.
It has been assembled on a first gen jig and the jig comes with the body shell
All the panels came from Classic Industries.
I have installed all new panels floor pan trunk pan inner and outter rocker panels with inner stiffners inner and outter wheel house new door shells quarter panels rear package tray and deck lid tail light panel and inner rear valance and a new roof skin heater delete firewall upper and outer cowl.
The gap on the drivers door is tight and the pass side is a little loose would have to drill out the hinges to get a good gap on both sides it needs new hinges.
The gap on the trunk is the biggest problem I am not a body man but I would say the taillight panel is a little wider than original. I have almost 3/8 more gap at the rear edge of the deck lid on both sides than at the front edge.
The pass side quarter rear tail light panel and pass side wheel house have not been welded they are temporaily screwed to test fit.
I have to sell as I am losing my shop space and I do not have any place to keep it. It has to go.
I do have a rear axle housing from the original car along with the gauge cluster and both doors with inner workings one door has a good glass the other does not it has 1 good quarter glass and a new windshield as well no other interior or exterior parts come with the shell.
If you are a body man or have tackeled a project such as this it should be an easy car to complete.
I have the vin tag and the hidden vin numbers all cut out as well as the trim tag.
This body shell is located in Estherville Iowa
I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit at the end of the auction and the balance in cash only upon pickup. no shipping is available. I can help load
