1980 DODGE MOTORHOME CONVERTED TO AN 8 X14 PX TREATED FLATBED TRUCK

01 JUNE 2015: PRICE IS REDUCED TO $4500.00For Sale is a 1980 Dodge Van/Flatbed that was converted from a Dodge Motor-Home/camper.I have an entire Year of man-Hours invested in the removal of the camper section and the rebuilding of this flat bed Dodge Truck.The Truck only does have 63k Miles on it. And the frame is in nice condition as well. I painted (the white camper section of the frame) but did not get to the cab section of the frame (Under the cab the Frame has minor surface rust in spots but nothing of concern).I replaced the Starter The Oil Pump HV The Cb The Work lights Upper/Lower the carb (The original carb was the Thermoquad and it was rebuilt but still it would empty out all fuel when the motor was shutdown and was then hard to start). I replaced the Thermoquad with a Carter Quadrajet. There is need to utilize the Choke cable on a cold startup.In addition the truck was Inspected/Approved/Completed in PA for A Re-Construction Title that alone cost $500.00 The Truck is certified/titled/registered for: Gross Weight; 9800 Lbs with an Empty Weight of 5690 LBS (Payload = 4110 Lbs).The Truck comes with 8 Tires. 7 are Mounted to wheels. 6 are installed onto the truck and 1 is a spare wheel/Tire also 1 is a spare tire only. (all have excellent tread).The chrome Hub Caps are new.The Grotz Tail Lights (Cost over $100.00) are also New.The Trailer Wiring is 4 Pin Flat and Is Also New. The Rear Work Light is New.The Truck Px Treated Bed is Sealed with Minwax Spar Urethane to keep the bed from wx checking etc. The Truck has Been listed on Craigslist as Sale/Barter for $5500.determining Value is hard for this vehicle: Tires = $2500// Px Deck = $1200// Title/Inspection = $500 // Engine Work/Parts =$350/ Paint job=$300/ 2500 Paid for the Vehicle/camper.I actually do have in excess of $5500 in cash invested in this truck but would still be willing to do a Part cash/Part Trade deal. I am looking for a 4x4 Pickup----like an S10 Stick Shift with an 8 Foot bed.(Just a Suggestion). I FULLY realize that I have invested way too much money into this truck and that really is my problem here. I need to sell it before I put any more into it---HA! Craigslist folks really want the truck for free and obviously I can't do that. I have spent so much on this vehicle I can't afford to provide any Warranty orGuarantee.I'm a retired person and have been a mechanic my entire life-----I believe that this truck to be in really good running condition.
