1992 California Highway Patrol EVOC Camaro B4C/1LE This 1992 California Highway Patrol (CHP) Unit # 892921 spent its entire 20 year service life in EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) service at the CHP Training Academy in Sacramento California. The car was never a road unit. The car was assigned to a specific EVOC training Sergeant during its service career at the Academy. The car is a factory 2 tone Black/White equipped with the B4C police package and the 1LE suspension package. The car was sold by the CHP at auction in 2012 with 30000 original miles on the car. Current mileage on the car is a little over 33000 miles. This is the ONLY 1992 CHP Camaro to ever serve in EVOC service at the CHP Training Academy. This car can be seen leading the pack in the Famous CHP EVOC DEMO YouTube video at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DOMBA72AxwI purchased the car from the gentleman who purchased the car at auction from the CHP. The car is licensed and titled in my name here in the State of Tennessee. The car was totally complete when sold at auction as it was when in-service at the CHP Academy less the radio equipment and graphics which were removed from the car prior to sale. Options on the car include the B4C Police Package 1U Factory Two Tone Black/White Paint Package 1LE performance Suspension Package L98 350 Tuned Port Injected Engine 700 R4 Automatic Transmission Power Steering 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes with 1LE 12 Inch Brakes Factory Air Conditioning Power Windows Power Door Locks Tilt Steering Aluminum Wheels Rear Window Defogger Power Rear Hatch Pull Down Factory Radio Delete and More! The car has a complete Roll Cage that was installed in the car when new by Chris Alston Chassis Works. The car has other modifications made by the CHP for EVOC service to include seats exhaust suspension rear aluminum work radio mounts and more. All of these modifications are still in and on the car. The STICO hidden CHP radio antennae is still on the car along with the CHP radio mounting boards in the rear of the car. Mechanically the car runs and drives great. I have driven the car over 2500 miles during my ownership. Everything works properly on the car right down to the interior lights. The L98 TPI engine runs great. I am told by the CHP EVOC garage mechanics the engine and transmission were new GM crate units installed in the with about 1000 miles at the time of auction. The brakes are all new to include new Power Slot rotors and brake pads. The tires are virtually new set of B.F. Goodrich Z rated KDSW Tires. The exhaust still retains the unique dual catalytic converters and CHP modified Flowmaster Cat Back exhaust. Everything under the hood is complete as when in-service to include the TPI air cleaner. The original spare tire and jack are included in the car. The exterior of the car has been completely repainted with graphics installed to in-service CHP EVOC appearance. The car was completely dis-assembled for repaint. The car was in excellent condition with never any body damage. I replaced both the front and rear bumper covers with nice GM covers due to the rubbing nose to tail they received with in-service doing precision driving exhibitions. The Black/White repaint involved the removal of original paint and a repaint with Base/Clear paint. I purposely left the jambs of the doors themselves original to preserve the original GM stickers. A new windshield was also installed at the time of repaint. The exterior paint on this car is NICE!!!! The CHP graphics are copies of the original In-Service livery and are removable from the car as needed. I have complete pictures of the car during the painting process. The license plates are reproductions of the original In-Service license plates and are NOT legal for registration purposes. The graphics and license plates are displayed here for show purposes ONLY and are removable to meet your states registration requirement or restrictions if any.The interior of the car is completely original to the car when in-service with the exception of the dash pad and racing harness seat belt. The seats carpet door panels headliner rear panels aluminum panels and more are all original to the car when in-service. The original dash pad was severely cracked. I was unable to remove/replace the dash pad due to the roll cage so a Coverlay brand dash cap was installed and looks fantastic! All the gauges work properly along with all the lights. The interior in this car is very nice for an original interior.Included with the car are all the Original Paperwork to include the original build sheet owner’s manual CHP keys and key chain other original delivery paperwork and pictures of the car as retired from service and when in-service. This is a very nice 1 of 1 CHP EVOC B4C/Camaro with only 33000 Original Miles. This is the only 1992 to serve at the CHP Academy and probably the most well-known 1992 Camaro Police car there is as thousands of people have seen this car do driving demonstrations at CHP Graduations and at Precision Driving Demonstrations at the CHP Academy. This is your chance to own a piece of CHP History! This car is sold directly by me the legal and licensed owner of this Camaro. This car is sold AS IS with No Warranty. This car has a Previous Salvage History. The State of California sold this car at auction with an “Owner Declared” Salvage Title as they did not want this car registered for street use in the State of California with the modifications they had made to the car.
