1957 Chevy belair hard top

1957 Chevy Belair 2 door hard top rolling chassis. I purchased the car the way it is so I don't know much about it I live in Texas and brought the car from Atlanta GA I have a clear Indiana title for the car. I had plans to restore it but I found a convertible and have decided to build that one instead. This car is about 90% complete except motor and trans and it does not have the original front seat. all the trim is on the car the glass is in it and the windshield is in good condition no cracks the side glass has cracks. the bumpers and grill and bar are on the car. The way it sits is how it goes. The wheels are old school Ansen slots and it steers and rolls just fine NO brakes the master cylinder is froze up. There is some rust on the car but its very repairable I would replace the floor pans and cross braces and the inner and outer rockers but some people may choose to fix what is there it will also need a tail pan. The tunnel is in good condition the trunk floor isin good condition and the rear shock tower is not rotten most of them are. This car still has the radiator engine mounts exhaust and clutch linkage still in it along with the driveshaft looks like someone just pulled the motor and tranny and left it all complete. The frame on this car is clean there is no rust holes or rot on the frame and it still has the original suspension and rear end. The top and drip rails are in good shape and the chrome window flaps still work the dash and gauge cluster is all there and the steering column has not been molested someone cut a hole in the floor for a floor shifter the original back seat and rear inner quarter panels are still in it and Camaro bucket seats in the front the interior chrome is in good condition that runs along the top from front to back. I have owned many of the tri fives and I know they are getting harder to find especially a good hard top I have set the reserve at a very reasonable price and I will not disclose the reserve until the auction is at the last few hours I will answer any questions you may have and the new owner will need to schedule transport I don't take payments and a deposit will be required at the end of the auction and the remainder in cash when you take possession of the car it will not leave until its paid for in full. please serious bidders only I don't have time to wait for people to get the money its an auction and needs to be paid for when the auction ends. Revision; This 57 does have drum brake all around and the trim for the back glass is in the car. There is also an extra rear trunk lid that goes with it. The rust on the floor pans is through the pan and parts of the floor the toes boards are good I would replace the floor pans with the one piece floor pans front and rear that are offered by Danchuck they offer the sections for left and right since the tunnel is still good.
