This is a seven tire forest green 1949 Chevy 3/4 ton (3600) pickup. The truck body exterior and interior were restored in the mid eightiesincluding the paint. The paint is in very good condition with some road dings and some blemishes it shows really well. I replaced all the electrical withoriginal parts or after market from Chevy's of the 40's web site. I tried to keep this truck as original as possible but finally gavein and replaced the Granny 4-speed with a 5-speedtransmissionfrom a S-10. This is an original farm truck and it was used for that purpose so thedrive-trainwas geared very low. With the newer transmission driving is a pleasure it's a real good driving truck something that can bedriven every day. I should mention that the clutch and throw out bearing were replaced when I replaced the transmission along with new motor and transmission mounts. Beingoriginaltheelectrical system is a 6 volt with low and high beams and directional signals. All the dash gauges work however I was unable to reconnect the speedometer cable to the newer transmission I'm sure there is a way to have them reconnected. The brakes have been replaced which includes new shoesbrake lines wheel cylinders master cylinder and all new emergency cables and misc parts. The radiator and gas tank were replaced along with new fuel lines and hoses. The engine was recently tuned up valves adjusted new gaskets etc. This is a great truck for someone who justwants to get in it and drive. I also wanted to mention that this truck has never been out in the weather since I bought it and has been garage stored. Vehicle comes with no warranties and is sold "as is".
