This car was purchased by Glenn Donnelly on April 14th 1978. Glenn Donnelly is quite a famous name in the racing world. He is the man that founded DIRT motorsports. Mr. Donnelly built one of the most successful sanctioning bodies in the motorsports industry as well as opening the DIRT hall of fame and classic car museum in 1992. He is known as the dirt racing king. He purchasedthis Corvette and drove it straight to his classic car museum where is sat for years. It was then purchased by a private buyer was garage kept and driven to shows and the occasional joyride on beautiful winding upstate New York roads. This Corvette has been cared for better than a first born and never neglected. It is a true classic collectors car and will make for a beautiful timeless addition to any collectors garage. In hand I have the original 1978 car invoice from Fiermonte Chevrolet in Weedsport N.Y. The original purchase price of this vehicle was $18500. All numbers are matching on the vehicle. The turning signal lever works but is a bit loose and I will ship out a replacement lever with the vehicle in case you would like to replace it.
