TOO MANY ADDERS SURE WE MISSED SOME.It was ONLY seen & Heard once in 2015; at RHINEBECK FAIRGROUNDS - NY Right behind the REGISTRATION TENT 2014 CAR WAS SHOWN TWICE: -- Received 2nd Place Trophy (pre 1942 W2 Category) from an AACA show in Dutchess County NY and -- Award Winner Plaque at Mills Mansion (Staatsburg NY 28th year "Gathering of Old Cars" 10/19/14) from Red Hook Car Club

We Reserve the right to end this auction early since this car is also being offered for sale locallyHistory:- Original Car was found in OHIO It was a stock 1937 Chevrolet all Steel Cabriolet (Convertible) one of only 1724 built- Originally finished in Ohio It was titled in Ohio as a 1937 Chevrolet CN (Convertible) - with a 1937 Chevrolet in-line 6 216-ci (3.5 L) engine. That required leaded gasoline to prevent knocking. - Original (37) engine oiled the rod bearing & connecting rods by using "oil trough" built into the oil pan. - With this engine drive train & brakes; it was not suited for either hi-speed or long range highway driving- The Original Car was destroyed by Fire and bought back from Insurance Company (with a Salvage “title”).- The Resto-Moded car was originally modified to make it perform better to be safer and to be more reliable (& More fun)- The re-purchased car was completely rebuilt on 1937 Chassis (Resto-Moded); and completed in 2013.- Used local body / engine & interior shops in & around Ohio ( near Zenia); - Car used some original parts (Chassis/Frame Convertible Top frame?? Bumper? and some “brite/trim work.- Rebuilt car was reinspected and titled (still as a 1937 Chevy Master Convertible) w/ new VIN # 412465 in OHIO.and has:
  • SUPERIOR Reinforced Fiberglass body (Shaved chopped). It was used because it is light weight (on 1937 frame) but has steel substructures & steel reinforcements that supply rigidity and support for key body areas; including doors hood & trunk lid.
    • A Superior 1937 Chevy Cabriolet Body (Costs 25+K for a "roller" Excludes engine drive train (transmission etc.)
    • A/C integrated into car;
    • also Power Tinted Windows and Remote locks (doors & trunk) included.
    • It has Mustang II front end w/ Disk Brakes
    • New Billet Wheels & New Tires
    • Rear Wheel Drive with Improved rear & rear brakes
    • 12V Hi Voltage electrical
    • Other Modifications inside outside underneath; including different parts
      • Leather Electric Powered Bucket Seats
      • Custom Interior; including trunk with embossed emblems & designs including Chevy emblem
      • All new - Improved Electronics New Harness LED lights inside indicators wiringfuse blocks etc.
      • New Dual Exhaust System
    • Additional Modifications were made Including obtaining & rebuilding drive train using:
      • Engine 1989 TPI Fuel Injected (Tuned Port with “Multec” Fuel Injectors) Engine – (5.0L) V-8 from Camaro (Z28-IROC) LB9 Engine w/ Tuned Port Injection
        • Less than 1% of all Chevy Engines in 1989 (8925 of 110739) were LB9.
      • Transmission THM700-R4 is the 4 Speed Turbo Hydra-Matic / Automatic with Overdrive
      • Rear End GMC (Olds? 10 Bolt) Rear End
    • Other modifications included
      • Upgraded car is computer controlled AND Set up for Regular unleaded

It was in 205 driven to/from Rhinebeck showI believe all this information is correct & true; I am not a car "expert" and have some records to prove some information.
