Up for auction is our beautiful 1970 Chevelle convertible.  Over 900 man hours was spent in meticulously restoring this vehicle to perfection.  This  car underwent a detailed rotisserie nut and bolt restoration.  This restoration involved the replacement of most of the sheetmetal.  Countless hours were spent making sure that mix of OEM and reproduction sheetmetal aligned to better-than-factory fit.    Over 90 percent of the rest of the car was built with new parts...........every wire fuel line brake line dash console upholstery seats door panels seat backs bumpers lights chrome  fuel tank A/C carpet convertable top........ EVERYTHING.....its all new.

When you look under the functioning cowl induction hood the car's glossy engine bay and you'll find 454 cubic inches of big block power one would expect in an automobile of this caliber. There is plenty of brightwork under the hood.  From  a chrome master cylinder/booster endurashine intake manifold from Edelbrock  and valve covers the engine compartment has just the right amount of chrome.  An Edelbrock water pump  a polished alternator and modern AC compressor. In front is a Griffin Cooling radiator.

As the photos show the body has undergone a complete restoration with new fenders quarters inner fenders core support  trunk and floor pan hood and deck lid.  The convertible top was frame and operating system was updated with all new bushings and a new header bow.  A complete new hydraulic pump hydraulic cylinders  and lines were added for the power top.  A new white top was added.

The clean undercarriage tells the story of roughly 500 miles. Rock-solid floorpans are coated in durable Raptor.  Behind the impressive big block is a new turbo 350 automatic transmission turning a 12-bolt posi-traction rear end. That excellent drivetrain is  a mostly stock suspension with upgraded sway bars. All suspension components were sandblasted and painted and all new bushings installed.  When the road starts to twist power steering maximizes the driver's input. Four power-assisted Corvette calipers squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors to provide good braking. A nice dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers give this muscle rod a sweet sound.   Power flows to the pavement through a beautiful set of Billet Specialties wheels which turn 245/35ZR18  in front of 275/30ZR20 tires.

The interior is completely new.  From the new Pearl seats colors seats new backs seat foam  door panels dash board center console EVERY piece has been replaced with new.  The A/C system is provided by Vintage Air with a new GEN IV vintage style electronic controls with effortless adjustment. Beneath that new console is deluxe carpet and matching floor mats.   A fully restored trunk features the factory finish.

This car has "stance".  This was well though by installing the proper rear springs front CPP modular drop spindles the perfect offset on the billlet wheels and the right tire to top it all off.  When matched with the beautiful Astro Blue exterior and Pearl interior it is a match made in heaven.  Please enjoy the photos.
