Up for sale is a Banks Engineering Twin Turbo L-82 1977 Chevy Corvette. Car was raffled off by the Museum of Transportation - St. Louis and purchased from the winner in non-running condition. Car has been thoroughly gone through by Morley Performance in Fenton MO and is in running condition. Records of all the work that has been performed since raffle is included with the car and can be provided upon request. Fuel pumps were replaced gas tank flushed all fluids changed carb rebuilt brakes upgraded and turbos rebuilt. The original parts that were removed will go with the car. Original Goodyear eagle tires are included in addition to the tires that are currently on it. Car was ran on a chassis dyno and made 429 HP and still climbing at 5500 RPMs in second gear. Separate boost pressure driven alcohol tank runs the turbos and motor runs on pump gas. Extra alcohol will be included with car. Car is equipped with AC but has not been run to see if it's functional. Telescopic and tilt wheel power steering and power disc brakes all around. All original paint and interior there are a few stress cracks in the fiberglass as pictured and some damage below the front bumper. Car has never been smoked in. Have a new car cover that goes with the car as well.
Car can be seen in Fenton MO Buyer responsible for pickup or all shipping costs. Cash in person bank transfer or cashiers check. Money must be cleared before vehicle is released. There is currently a $3000 title loan on the vehicle that will be taken care of when car is paid for.

Pistons: Banks forged 110-inch reverse deflector 8.5:1 compression
Cam: Banks "Turbotorque" grind. Hydraulic profile with wide lobe centers. Excellent low-speed throttle response with mid-range/top-end power.
Head Work: Mild porting with polished combustion chambers.
Head Gaskets: Chevy #14011041 O-Ring type
Rocker Arms: Crane 1.5 ratio roller -type
Ignition: Delco HEI with Stinger magnetic impulse trigger. 28-degrees centrifugal advance with "quick" vacuum advance.
Cooling: Water routing from head-to-block is changed to help cool the center exhaust ports. A 70-degree drop
Induction: Modified Edelbrock Torker intake with modified Holley 800 cfm double-pumper carb. (Electric chock air-sealed throttle shafts Nitrofil floats total carb re-calibration)
Turbos: Two E-flow Rayjay turbos (capable of air flow to produce 900hp). Eight pounds of boost pressure Air plenum with internal brass screen mesh "air diffuser element" atop carb. Shuttle valve incorporated to keep turbo speed up (no lag) Alcohol injection with two nozzle and one gallon stainless steel tank. Two K&N air filters with three-inch diameter hose to turbos. Twin waste gates. 520 Hp at 5800 rpm at 4000 feet elevation.
Exhaust Manifolds: Hand built tube forgings of mild steel. Mounts both waste gate and turbo.
Transmission: B&M Automotive Turbo 400 Banks Powerglide converter with TH400 Sprang. 13-inch converter has a 2600 rpm stall-speed.
Performance 11.70 ET at 124 mph with Goodyear NCT radials.
